What are calico dolls used for? Calico dolls, also known as 'trauma dolls', are used by CCF to help transition children with cancer to hospital and medical procedures.
Besides using the dolls to role-play of some of the medical procedures which the children have to undergo, designing and playing with the dolls also gives CCF children a sense of control and empower them with freedom of expression.
